Since Shamsiye boys’ secondary&high school was founded in 2013, it has been steadily enjoying excellent academic records. In Form Two National Examinations, Shamsiye ranked the first in the country in 2014 and 2015. In 2016, form four graduates ranked the first in the country under the category of schools with less than 40 candidates.
From the time we joined inter Islamic school exams (TAHISCO) IN 2014, we have maintained number one for three consecutive years both in Form 2 and Form 4 exams.
Our students are actively involved in different activities beyond four walls of class rooms; the activities include; International Mathematics Olympiad(IMO)
World scholars’ cup,Golden climate,
We organize Study tours inside and outside Tanzania such as Ngorongoro, Manyara ,Serengeti, Amboni caves in Tanga, Egypt,t U.S.A etc
Meanwhile , we have established subject clubs as per ministry of education requirements. As for now, the most active clubs include; Mathematics, Biology, Geography, English language and Arabic. It is our plan to ensure that other subjects become active from this year.
